Early April to Late April
An 8 kilometer long ridge covered with 30,000 cherry trees
From Senbonguchi Station on the Yoshino Ropeway up to the summit, around 30,000 cherry trees bloom over a span of about three weeks each year. The view from the Hanayagura Observation Deck is particularly stunning. When you gaze out at the ridge that runs north-south for about 8 kilometers, pale pink cherry blossoms stretch out as far as the eye can see, leaving many at a loss for words.
