Spring scenery filled with around 130 varieties of cherry tree blossoms
The Cherry Blossom Tunnel runs for around 560 meters from the south gate (Tenmabashi side) to the north gate (Sakuranomiyabashi side), stretching out along the Kyu-Yodo river on the premises of the Osaka Mint Bureau. This is open to the public for just seven days each year when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Visitors are greeted by about 350 cherry trees, made up of around 130 varieties. You shouldn't miss this chance to see many Yae cherry trees in flower, along with rarities like the Shogetsu cherry and Venite Mali.
