Southwest of Honshu, Fukuoka is in the northern part of the Kyushu region. In the middle of the prefecture, the Kusaba River runs for a mere 1.5 kilometers in Chikuzen city. Each spring brings a fantastic landscape, a blooming river of pink cherry blossoms and yellow field mustard flowers, flowing alongside the babbling brook.
By Nishitetsu Tenpin Omuta Line, disembark at Asakura Kaidou Station. Take the Asakura Badou Yamae bound bus for around 25 minutes to Shin-Machi bus stop. It is a 5-minute walk to the Sakura stream.
