Kujukushima Pearl Sea Resort(About 3 hours required, including lunch)
This resort park is the gateway to the Kujuku Islands in Saikai National Park. It serves as a base for a myriad of experiences in this marine wonderland, including cruises around the islands, and sea excursions by sailboat or kayak. The resort features facilities such as the Umi Kirara Kujukushima Aquarium, as well as shops and restaurants, providing plenty of fun for the whole family.

Huis Ten Bosch(A half day to a day required)
This accommodation-style resort sits next to the scenic Omura Bay, and its spacious grounds feature various flowers that bloom from season to season. Matsuura Historical Museum (tea ceremony experience)(About 1 hour required)
A residence built in 1893 that was home to the Matsuura clan, lords of the Hirado Domain. It now houses a historical museum. You can experience the tea ceremony at Kanun-tei on the residence grounds.
Visitors can try on armor or "uchikake" formal overgarments free of charge. This is the perfect opportunity to take a photo to commemorate your visit.

St. Francis Xavier Memorial Church in Hirado(About 15 minutes required)
This church in the downtown area has come to symbolize Hirado. One of the most iconic sights in the city, the view of St. Francis Xavier Memorial Church interspersed with the surrounding temples blends West and East into one, giving a sense of Hirado's history as a place influenced by interaction with foreign lands.

Kawachi Pass(About 30 minutes required)
This vast grassland stretches out over around 30 hectares. In spring, the Hirado azaleas are a sight to behold, while in summer the flourishing grassland looks like a sea of green. In fall, Japanese pampas grass carpets the land. This Hirado mainstay is a spot that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
You can see fantastic scenery here all year round. The best times to go are during the verdant spring and summer, or in fall when the Japanese pampas grass is in full effect.
